ABOUT US

Welcome to B.E.D.A. We are a National organisation founded in 2002 with branches throughout the UK. Formed to initially act as a stop gap for other voluntary and government run organisations involved in the welfare and care of the elderly and disabled. The organisation became a huge success and went National in 2004 after running a number of multi-agency conferences for voluntary, care organisations and medical professionals.

Our services are aimed primarily at helping the disabled and senior citizens in supporting and maintaining their independence at home. We befriend and support our clients with advice and advocacy on a number of major and minor issues. Our volunteers will give general advice and assistance with home security, minor maintenance repairs and gardening. We provide transport in rural areas and organise home visitors, excursions and visits to places of interest and operate small befriending social clubs.
